A Japanese multinational automobile manufacturer Nissan Motor Company Ltd. announced that they will resale some parts of their old cars like R32 GT-R as NISMO Heritage Parts from December 1, 2018.
Nissan is a world wide automobile maker headquartered in Yokohama city, Kanagawa prefecture. It sells their cars under the Nissan, Infiniti, and Datsun brands. NISMO is an affiliated company which sells performance tuning products for racing, and runs racing team too.
Nissan, NISMO and Autech, which is also an affiliated company selling parts to customize cars for drivers, have launched new brand NISMO Heritage Parts which resale old cars’ parts. This new brand will support users who want to ride their favorite old cars for a long time. As a first step, NISMO Heritage Parts will sell parts of R32 GT-R. R32 GT-R has been released as the highest grade of its popular model Skyline from 1989 to 1995. It has high performance as of now, so it’s still gaining popularity and being admired by people loving cars.
NISMO Heritage Parts will prepare for 80 parts like a harness, a hose, a tube, an emblem and exterior parts at first. Selling parts for R33 & R34 Skyline GT-R are also being planned. Users can order NISMO Heritage Parts at Nissan’s dealers, NISMO Performance Center and NISMO Omori Factory.
Other Japanese automobile manufacturers have also started to sell their old cars’ parts. Matsuda has launched “NA Roadstar Restore“, Honda launched “NSX Refresh Plan” and “BEATparts“.
