Lawson Ticket has concluded that a claim about Touken Ranbu‘s musical play ticket was just a lie.
Twitter user @sobarrrrrin tweeted that my ticket of Touken Ranbu‘s musical play was cancelled automatically by Lawson Ticket. Lawson Ticket is a company which sells tickets instead of promoters. And Tohken Ranbu a.k.a Toulove is a name of online game that customers can grow animated old times samurai worriers existed indeed. It has become a musical play or animation due to the popularity.
According to the user, the user received an email from Lawson Ticket about cancellation of the ticket that the user has already paid for it. The user didn’t cancel the ticket and essentially cancellation of tickets isn’t allowed from customer’s side. The user made a call to the Lawson Ticket‘s call center soon. But a operator of Lawson Ticket call center explained that some customers have cancelled their reservations because of special reasons and the operator couldn’t find the reason of the user’s cancellation so Lawson Ticket had started to investigate the reason of the cancellation.
At the same time, the user uploaded a receipt of ticket payment and screen captures of emails the user received. Many Japanese people believed what the user said and got angry at Lawson Ticket and some people also mentioned about similar cases caused by Lawson Ticket.
There are some suspicions about this matter. Someone said that an employee of Lawson Ticket might embezzle the ticket because the ticket of Touken Ranbu‘s musical play is very popular among fans and can be sold in high price at online auction site. Also somebody said that a cashier might cancel the payment operation after the user left and got the money.
Eventually Lawson Ticket announced on their website that the claim from the user was just a lie on September 6, 2017.
