3 Ex-SMAP Members, Shingo Katori, Tsuyoshi Kusanagi and Goro Inagaki, has opened their official website named “Atarashi Chizu” on September22, 2017. This website will inform fans of activities or messages from now on. The url of the new website is https://atarashiichizu.com.
Shingo Katori, Tsuyoshi Kusanagi and Goro Inagaki have resigned their previous showbiz agency Johnny’s company on September 8 2017. The reason of the leaving is not stated explicitly but it is said that their assistant manager Michi Iijima invited SMAP members to leave the agency and create new showbiz agency for more money. But only Shingo Katori, Tsuyoshi Kusanagi and Goro Inagaki followed her, and other SMAP members, Masahiro Nakai and Takuya Kimura a.k.a. Kimutaku, stayed at Johnny’s company as it is.
Japanese phase “Atarashi Chizu” means new map. This is translation of a message displayed with video in the new website.
From the things binding you
Let’s exceed a border
Let’s paint it again
Love free and love, our weapon is an idea and charm
Don’t mind if someone makes fun of you
Touch someone’s heart with kind regards
Be well ventilated
We are new map
On the same day, Tsuyoshi Kusanagi appeared on some celebrities Instagram account. When 3 members had belonged to the previous agency Johnny’s company, the agency strictly prohibited to use SNS or appear in SNS in terms of Portrait Rights.
In the near future, Shingo Katori, Tsuyoshi Kusanagi and Goro Inagaki might have their own SNS account like Twitter, Instagram and Facebook commonly used in Japan.
